Einar Jarmund has been practicing architecture together with Hakon Vigsnæs for the past sixteen years.  Their work thrives on projects that necessitate creative and intelligent solutions based on limitations – be they site, climate or budget.  The majority of their work is comprised of mid sized houses, though they have a number of public projects as well, including a renovation of the Oslo School of Architecture and the Svalbard Science Center. JVA’s architecture and practice focus primarily on the process and grit of design, rather than on presenting a polished appearance.
