Madame Architect: A Record for a New Future is a media and events platform founded by Julia Gamolina, Associate Principal at Ennead Architects. Launched in 2018, it spotlights women and creatives shaping the built environment. Gamolina also leads strategic development at Ennead, speaks internationally, and has taught at Pratt Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and is based in New York City.

Brigitte Shim
Architalx Re·turn
Shim-Sutcliffe is an architectural design firm devoted to craft, tectonics, site, and ecology. Brigitte Shim first visited Portland, Maine, in 1998 to speak at Architalx, and returned multiple times during the design and construction of Congregation Bet Ha’am in South Portland, which opened in 2009. She will now share the firm’s work across architecture, landscape, interiors, furniture, and hardware.
